(All New & Existing Players register through the AFL PlayHQ system)
There are many reasons why you may be interested in joining a Local Football club - from simply wanting to be a part of the sport and improve your fitness, to playing with mates and being part of a team. No matter what your goals and aspirations, membership with our Club can help you achieve your goals and get more from your footy.
Online registrations for 2022 – Players & Volunteers
All registrations are now being completed using a new registration portal called PlayHQ. Many families will be familiar with PlayHQ from other sports like Basketball.
If you are an existing player, your player information has been transferred to PlayHQ. If you are new and don’t have an account, then you will need to create one.
Tips when registering when you are an existing player:

If you have already registered in 2021 you will need to use the same login details, email and password as used in previous year. Once you are in, you then follow the same process as previous years.

After filling in your details, you will be asked if you wish to pair your child’s information. Select that option and it will bring the child’s playing information across to PlayHQ. Please do this only if the player details match.

Please note birth certificates no longer need to be loaded onto the database but your team manager will need to cite them before the start of the season.

If you are a player from another club and wish to register, transfers will be available from 1st February 2022.

If your child is coming from Auskick, please use the same PlayHQ details.

All registered junior players of the Frankston YWC Football Netball Club will receive a free Senior Social club membership. This allows one adult (no charge for children) free admission to all senior home games and access to social rooms on game day.
Membership & Registration
Frankston YCW JFC has an upfront registration fee policy, with no weekly participation fees. This fee includes player registration with the VCFL and FDJFL, cost of supplies during the season and insurance for each player.
Please note that NO player may take the field unless the balance of their fees are paid. All outstanding fees must be payed in full prior to round 1 each year. Generally there will be no exception to this ruling.
Hardship cases: In special circumstances hardship cases will be considered by our Committee provided a request is made in writing and emailed to the secretary at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. No requests will be considered after the 1st April.
Proof of age: New players will need to provide proof of age (e.g. Extract of Birth, Birth Certificate, Baptismal Certificate, Welfare Centre Book, Immunisation Certificate) at time of registration. (Statutory Declarations will not be accepted as proof of age).
Starting age: for under 10’s, is no more than two years less than the age group, and following age groups the same criteria applies. (e.g. under 9s will be 8 to 7 years old).
Transferring from another club: - No problem, contact our club Secretary to discuss further and to arrange a online transfer and start playing for Frankston YCW asap! (Subject to League and club clearance).
